TDF Stage 18

The Man from the Isle of Man, the Manx Missile, Mark Cavendish wins his second stage of this year's TDF and his 22nd Overall.

TDF '12 Stages 4 & 5

Andre Greipel won both stages, which were both marred by crashes in the peloton in the final few kilometers.

These performance put Greipel right on the heels of  Peter Sagan in the green jersey competition.

Fabian Cancellera as held the Yellow Jersey since the start and he will hold it into tomorrow.

NHL Free Agency

Zach Parise & Ryan Suter have both signed with the Minnesota Wild.

This could be intriguing, if injuries have not taken a bite out of Niklas Backstrom, this is a team to be feared.

TDF '12 Stages 2 & 3

On Monday, July 2nd, the Man from the Isle of Man won Stage 2.  This was Cav's 21st TDF Stage Victory


On Tuesday, July 3rd.  22 year old Peter Sagan won his second stage, Stage 3, yo go with his Stage 1 Victory.

Cav vs Sagan for the Green Jersey.  Yes, please.

Tour de France 2012

The 2012 Tour de France is now underway.

In the Time Trial Prologue, the man known as Spartacus, Fabian Cancellera, won the event and carried the Yellow Jersey into Stage 1.

 In Stage 1, Peter Sagan wins a three-way sprint to capture the stage. Spartacus finishes third and retains his yellow jersey. The stage was marred by crashes, including 2011 TDF dynamo Tomas Voeckler.
